Wedding #57: We Bought a Zoo

I finally saw We Bought a Zoo. Saw & cried a lot. I was crying at 22 minutes in, but at this point it was little tears. Part way through there was some blubbering sobs & at the end oh my... water works galore. I cry super easily, so this was really no surprise. My boyfriend just sits there & laughs at me which honestly makes me cry harder (while punching him of course). I love making wedding inspiration boards based on my favorite movies (i.e. Hunger Games) & so I really was excited to create this inspiration board!

And of course I'm linking up again this week for
Wedding Wednesdays with A Charming Occasion
On a related side note... has anyone read the book?
& if so... is it worth reading???

Wedding Inspiration #57: We Bought a Zoo

Now I am in the mood to go to a zoo...
I wonder if there's one near Savannah??
Anybody know??
Anyway, this week is rough for me.. I have been overly tired for some reason.
I am just ready for the week to be over.
Then I get to drive up to Greenville to meet my new baby cousin!!!!!
It's her baptism!!! I can't wait to meet her!
Pictures to come! :)

H&M Love

I love H&M.
When I lived in Dublin, Ireland doing a summer internship, I always got an hour to an hour & a half lunch break everyday. Best part about this??? My work was literally a 5 minute walk to the shopping center at St. Stephen's Green. My favorite stores? River Island, Top Shop & H&M. This explains why my Friday Fancies often use clothes from all 3 of the stores. When H&M came to Tacoma I was super excited... however, I was only there a semester before I moved...
So now I am in Savannah where other than fancy-way-too-expensive-boutiques-that-I-can't-afford... there is pretty much only Forever 21 to cater to my style.
so uh yeah I have been loving checking out H&M lately online! Here are some many reasons why I seriously need H&M to offer online shopping!!!

H&M Love

Best part about H&M?
The prices...
{1} $14.95
{2} $12.95
{3} $34.95
{4} $17.95
{5} $24.95
{6} $24.95
{7} $17.95
{8} $34.95
{9} $14.95
{10} $5.95
{11} Unknown

Total = $204.50

Aghhh seriously H&M! Please get your online shopping services up!
Or well cough cough ahem... maybe for the sake of my wallet, please don't :)

Happy Memorial Day

Today I would like to share this video I first saw on A Momma's Desires & Pacifiers.
I have to admit... I did tear up...
I love stuff like this, but I am also a big baby & I cry very easily.
It makes me really happy when I meet someone who is respectful of our military.
It also makes me feel so good when someone comes up to my bf while we are out
& he's in his uniform and they thank him for his service.
I can easily say I am so happy I found him.
Well rather he found me... :)
Anyway, I hope today you take the time to thank those you know that serve for our country.

Happy Memorial Day!!!! :)
And I must say, I have had a fabulous weekend despite having to work so much!!!

Alright, get ready to see something really cool.
While reading this post by Apartment 34
I found the neatest thing... Shelter Co.
I really love camping! Check out my Camping wedding inspiration board here!
Basically what Shelter Co. does is they set up luxury camping sites for your events.
It's a really genius idea & I think would be so amazing for a party/wedding!!!
And it's absolutely perfect for a couple who loves the outdoors!

Friday Fancies #38: Memorial Day Weekend

I'd much rather not talk about this week's Friday Fancies because I am a little bit upset. Let me tell you why. My boyfriend came back last night & I had Wednesday and Thursday off. My boyfriend has Friday through Monday off (obviously... he is in the military). Would you like to know what I will be doing Friday through Monday? Work 11-4, work 1215-730, work 12-730 & work 330-730. I would so much rather be spending the weekend with my lovely military man. So... here is my Friday Fancies & my if I were a free person on Memorial Day Weekend... For all you people who are off work... you better have an extra fabulous time! :) And don't forget to thank those who serve for your country! They really are some amazing incredible people & I am so fortunate to have one laying next to me snoring on the couch...

Friday Fancies #38: Memorial Day Weekend

Can you tell I love wedge heels????
Anyway... this is what I will be dreaming of all weekend while selling wedding dresses...

Wedding #52: A Surfer's Dream

With summer officially kicking off this Memorial Weekend...
I have only one thing in mind... the beach &...
SURFING.
I am an avid snowboarder & I recently kinda started longboarding...
But I have yet to try surfing & I really want to!
Although, I doubt the waves at Tybee are big enough, but I will someday learn!
Anyway, with that in mind, I decided to put together a surfer's dream wedding :) Enjoy!

Detox Update:
I have made it through Day 4. Now there are only 3 days left! I feel very good about my self-control at this point & I am feeling good. Today was bananas & milk and this was the easiest day so far because I love bananas! I cheated a teeeeeeeny bit & had yogurt, but only so I could make banana smoothies, which were amazing that I ended up having 2, which accounted for 3 of the bananas. With 1 & 1/2 bananas I made a special treat... BANANA ICE CREAM. Made from only bananas... yeahhhhhhhh, cool right? Check out the recipe here! I loved it. No lie. I'm also feeling really good about this detox because tomorrow is meat & tomatoes day. I cannot wait for some grilled chicken & salmon!! I mean I really am sooooo so excited about this. However, the only glitch is that I seem to have plateaued at 128 & haven't seen any additional weight loss... but there are still 3 more days left!
Starting weight: 132.4 Day 4 weight: 128

Guest Post by Arcadian Lighting

Hello everyone!
It's Mari here for Arcadian Lighting, a wonderful online resource for light fixtures and lighting ideas and trends. One of the best things about writing for Arcadian Lighting is being able to visit great blogs like Nicole Rene Design to share some beautiful interior spaces. My guest post today is about decorating ideas for feminine bedrooms. From totally feminine to stylishly refined, I hope you'll find something to love about each and every one of the eight gorgeous rooms we've chosen. Please enjoy!
Feminine Bedroom
This light and airy tropical bedroom is pretty and feminine with lovely coral bedding, delicate metal canopy bed and stunning over-sized botanical wallpaper.
Feminine Bedroom
An unexpected curvy upholstered headboard softens the metal canopy bed and adds feminine allure to this eclectic bedroom. I love the velvet bolster pillow, carved bedside tables and antique trunk.
Feminine Bedroom
This crisp white bedroom is at once feminine and masculine with bright pink and navy accents. Brass lamps are a nice contrast to the dark wood of the simply draped bed.
Feminine Bedroom
Not your usual feminine bedroom, this elegantly sumptuous bedroom has a lovely feminine vibe that is anything but girly.
Feminine Bedroom
Simplicity at its feminine best, this soaring bedroom merges hard edges with soft textures. The wallpaper creates a stunning backdrop for the bed.
Feminine Bedroom
Who knew brown and white could be so feminine and stylish? I love the great mix of patternóthe checks on the gathered dust ruffle are beautiful. What a creative idea for the floor: botanicals with a touch of coral.
Feminine Bedroom
Beautiful lighting fixtures cast a dreamy spell over this contemporary take on a feminine bedroom. From the lovely textured carpet underfoot, to the out of the ordinary furniture, to powerful equestrian art, this one all about riveting interior design.
Feminine Bedroom

And finally, this bedroom is a golden vision of feminine style with soft and appealing textures. It's perfect for lazy Sunday mornings with breakfast in bed.

What do you think about these feminine designs?

Visit Arcadian Lighting to find a stylish wall sconce, table lamp,
or chandelier that will brighten up your feminine space!
