Styled Love Shoot in a MARSH?!

Oh my gosh yesterday the boyfriend & I did something super special!

In about 20 minutes I styled a love shoot for us in the swamp with the super talented Alexis Sweet of Alexis Sweet Photography!!! 

Alexis is so easy to be around and makes you feel super comfortable...

Although Chris did point out that she had more pointers for me than for him so according to my boyfriend he is obviously more photogenic and goodlooking than me. :) 

Anyway, Alexis is so awesome she even gave us a little sneak peak last night! I was so in love!

And cannot wait to see the rest, but wanted to share them first!!!
I love how she was able to capture Winnie smiling too!!! 

Coming next a post on how to style a love shoot in 20 minutes for under $100.. haha it happened. :)

And I loved the outcome!!!

Almost as much as I love my boyfriend :)

Today is my last wedding of the year at the Savannah Queen!!

GREEN WEDDING SHOES & BIG NEWS!!!

I am soooooo excited you guys don't even know!!!!!!! Today, my company was featured on Green Wedding Shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a big deal to me because Green Wedding Shoes is only my FAVORITE wedding blog there is!!! I look at it every day pretty much and rely on it heavily for some amazing wedding inspiration!!!!! When Layla and I started brainstorming ideas for a styled shoot, my main criteria was that I wanted to do something good enough to be featured on Green Wedding Shoes!!!! And it happened!!!!!!! It feels so good to achieve a goal that I have and I feel so truly blessed to have gotten this opportunity!!! Oh, How Pinteresting #6 & Dream Wedding #16

Today I decided to combine my link-ups with Vintage Apple & Something Charming. Mostly just because what I wanted to do for my wedding wednesday is basically using all pictures from my pinterest board, Bride & Groom. Since I work at weddings it is no surprise that my dream wedding is starting to formulate in my head. And it is so different than what I originally thought. At first I always thought I would want this huge party with a whole bunch of people. Now trust me... I still want my big party, but there's something else I want first. I want to either elope or have an engagement shoot with an amazing photographer. Then I think probably a year later I want to have the huge party. I just think it would be so much more intimate and meaningful for myself & future mystery fiance to do it that way... Just to spend that day with the people you love more than anything. Or maybe unconsciously this is just my way of getting to celebrate twice? I don't know. But I will tell you one thing. I do not want my wedding to be the happiest day of my life. And the reason is because than what about all the rest of the days of marriage? Are you just doomed to a life of never being that happy again??

I will admit that I do believe in true love & fairy tales. <3

Oh, How Pinteresting #6 & a Dream Wedding #16: Engagement Shoot

& you know what... I just thought of something...
Looking at all these happy couples makes me happy
because I am a happy girlfriend & I love my boyfriend. :)
And I feel very lucky to have that!
I think it's fun to have an engagement shoot location that fits the couple's personalities.
Which made me think...
HOW FREAKING COOL WOULD A
SNOWBOARDING ENGAGEMENT SHOOT BE?!?!?!?!
Just saying... now watch us see it next winter on one of these big wedding blogs.
Pfttt, well all I have to say is I said it first.
Now I'm off to get my haircut.
Ew.

Detox Update:
After going to the pool & having to put on a bathing suit, I was quickly reminded why I chose to do this detox. And decided to make the best of it & complete it because I started it. I may have a drink or two this weekend but that doesn't mean I can't complete the 7 days. So I will be doing all 7 days. Then next time when considering a detox, I'll stick to one that is less than 5 days haha. Oh, and I just made a delicious dinner of asparagus, mushrooms & onions seasoned with salt, pepper & garlic. It was actually really fabulous and I will be making it as a side dish for the bf sometime! I think he'd like it a lot too. So, here is to self control & willing myself to just do it!

Me in a Bohemian Styled Shoot

So in October I did something I have never done before. 

Something I never thought I would do. 

Layla asked me to be in a styled shoot... I instantly said yes not thinking much about it. 

I got one of my friends to be my fake hubby & I have to say we had a great time. 

Lots of laughing & joking around. 

Alexis Sweet was the photographer & she made me feel so comfortable. 

I was really nervous & self conscious at first. 

I didn't want to have pictures taken of my bad angle or of me making an ugly face. 

But Alexis made me feel really comfortable & made me laugh a lot. 

Although, I don't think I gave her very good "serious" faces. 

And taking pictures straight into the sun was hard to keep my eyes open. 

But she was patient with me & I do like the way most of the pictures turned out! 

Layla did an amazing job styling the shoot with a Bohemian theme. 

Anyway, I've finally gotten over my "shyness" of these & decided to put them up!

Changes to blog are slowly occurring...

Got a new signature... check.

Changed most of my post backgrounds to white.

Now I just have to redo the background, touch up the header...

& figure out how to make my signature change on every post???

Anyone know how to do this?

Photo Shoot on Tybee

Today I am doing a design shoot on Tybee for event planner, Layla Mayville!

I couldn't be more excited!!!

I can't wait to see how everything turns out!!

I'm getting my hair & make-up done even! :)

Good thing I've been whitening my teeth...

I'm sure the event design will be amazing...

It is really quite possibly the most adorable cutest shoot I have seen!!!

I think I might have to use at as inspiration for my cousin's baby shower!
