Wedding #66: Southwest Aztec

Today my wedding inspiration board comes from one of my favorite fashion trends right now.

Aztec prints. I love it. I have some skirts & bathing suits that have some funky prints.

I thought this might make a really fun wedding inspiration!

This theme has me dreaming of a vacation to New Mexico... 

Or maybe just a vacation in general...

I have always been a huge fan of anything southwestern.

I just find it so pretty & love the prints & warm colors.

And of course I love cactuses & succulents!

Wedding #65: Nude & Blush

I've never before made a wedding inspiration board like this.

But... this necklace is just so beautiful & the colors are so gorgeous.

So anyway here it is my first wedding board inspired by a thing.

I love the colors in this necklace & just feel like a wedding using nude & blush would be gorgeous.

I love both colors & think neutrals make for a very elegant affair.

Wedding #62: Country Girls & Horses

Wow.... The last wedding inspiration board I made was on July 9th. Too freaking long! :) But anyway, today I am going to make a wedding inspiration post I've been wanting to do for awhile now! I was inspired by one of my brides at work. She is this real cute country girl... I mean back-in-the-woods-Georgia-raised true southern girl. I helped her find her dream dress. Which had one major requirement: Must have a short enough train & be easy to get on a horse in. Oh yeahhh... her wedding entrance? On a horse. So here is my wedding inspiration board inspired by her :)

Wedding Inspiration #62: Country Girls & Horses

When I was young I took some horseback riding lessons.
I enjoyed it :) 

My cousin was really big into horseback riding.

And won medals and stuff...

Well funny story...

One summer we were at the horse track...

And when I was young I was super unbearably quiet & shy...

Well, a horse stepped on my foot.

I was real young. Probably like 10 or 12.

Well, I was so shy and quiet that no I did not yell out loud like a normal person would.

Nope... I said quietly & timidly... "Uncle.. uncle. Um uncle the horse is stepping on my foot."

My uncle hurried to get the horse off & was like NICOLE?!!?! Why didn't you yell?

Lol.

Maybe I just have super high tolerance to pain?

Well, I definitely do but still.. Haha :) 

Glad I'm not that shy anymore! 

Today I am off to Bleu Belle Bridal to find a dress for the wedding inspiration shoot I am planning with Layla Mayville and other vendors in Savannah!!!!

Wedding #61: Mermaids

Since I am going to Myrtle Beach tomorrow... it just had to happen!

Some beachy wedding inspiration!! 

But with a twist...

So when I was a kid I was a real dork. No lie.

And one of my favorite things to do when swimming in the ocean?

Pretend I was a mermaid.

Probably because I am a ginger & my favorite movie was The Little Mermaid!

So of course this wedding inspiration board is all about mermaids.

Wedding #60: Sail Away With Me

Seriously it's already July? This year is going by faster than I can even handle. 

And I feel like there is so much I want to do but haven't yet...

Like camping, boating, paddle boarding, etc. 

And I am seriously ready for a summer vacation!

Lucky for me I am going to Myrtle Beach in T minus 8 days! 

Sooooooo excited!!!!

Especially excited to hang out with my nephews from Oregon!

I miss them soooooooooooo much.

It's not even funny how much I miss them!!!! 

I basically grew up with them & I cannot wait to play on the beach with them all day!

Anyway, this wedding inspiration board is based on something I have never done...

Wedding #59: Dots + Stripes

I have been loving the mismatched prints lately, which for me is a really new thing. I was that matchy-matchy girl that in high school would even match my purple shirt to my purple Uggs. Real life. Ya know... I think I might even still have those purple Uggs back home in Portland. HA. Anyway, I have completely grown out of my I-must-match-everything stage & am recently seriously loving putting dots with stripes. And how cute would that be for a wedding? Finally I have gotten around to making another inspiration board! It's been literally almost a month! Wow, I didn't realize how long it's been, but I just went back through my blog posts & the last inspiration board I made was on June 6th. Hot damn I have been slacking major, I think that means I need to make up for lost time & make like 10. But until then, here's my dots & stripes inspiration board! Hope you enjoy! :)

Wedding #59: Dots + Stripes

I think it's funny that while starting this post last night I was bummed I didn't have any free time.

And now, Tuesday morning as I'm sitting around the house finishing this post

I am thinking to myself... wow I wish I had something to do...

And I don't know what to force myself to do.

There are a lot of redecorating projects I want to do around the house,

But I am saving my money right now because Myrtle Beach is in a week

& my 2 year anniversary is coming up with my bf... 

So I wanna get him something special :) 

Anyway, work called me in so I am real excited & headed off to work!!!
