Styled Love Shoot in a MARSH?!

Oh my gosh yesterday the boyfriend & I did something super special!

In about 20 minutes I styled a love shoot for us in the swamp with the super talented Alexis Sweet of Alexis Sweet Photography!!! 

Alexis is so easy to be around and makes you feel super comfortable...

Although Chris did point out that she had more pointers for me than for him so according to my boyfriend he is obviously more photogenic and goodlooking than me. :) 

Anyway, Alexis is so awesome she even gave us a little sneak peak last night! I was so in love!

And cannot wait to see the rest, but wanted to share them first!!!
I love how she was able to capture Winnie smiling too!!! 

Coming next a post on how to style a love shoot in 20 minutes for under $100.. haha it happened. :)

Today is my last wedding of the year at the Savannah Queen!!

Society Social Pillows

Can I have all of these pillows?

The answer is no because I'm cheap & doubt I would spend $54 on a pillow.

All my throw pillows on our couch are from Target or Kirkland's at about $18 a pop.

But when I have a big girl job making big girl money then maybe I will buy some $54 pillows.

I just did 2 Insanity workouts in a row because I missed a few days & wanted to catch up.

I am so exhausted now... & I have to go to work for 6 hours.

It is going to be rough!!!!

I want to fall asleep...

Maybe coffee run on my way to work?

Color Splash's David Bromstad

I found a new show that I am currently obsessed with.

Anyone seen Color Splash with David Bromstad?

He is pretty much amazing & I love watching what he comes up with.

Although I doubt I would ever decorate a room that eccentrically...

But the show definitely gives me some inspiration!! 

Inspires me to start painting too.

If you haven't watched the show I would definitely recommend it.

Anyway, on a completely random note...

We bought a cat!

Meet Tigger:)

What's cute is he was named Tigger when we got him.

Considering his older sister is named Winnie... Cute right??

I'm pretty much obsessed.

Here he is taking a nap on my boyfriend's shoulders after exploring our entire house

& after killing 3 flies...

Although I must say he will not be allowed naps before bedtime

because I was woken up at 3am in the morning with a little kitty playing with my head/hair...

We put him on the ground & he jumped back up a few seconds later.

Tried that again & of course he came back.

Finally we put him out in the living room.

I feel bad though because my roommates told me this morning that he was meowing outside their room & one of them finally let him in hoping he would sleep. Yeah that didn't happen.

So moral of the story is... little guy gets no naptimes until bedtime.

Now to Winnie...

She was not happy yesterday when I brought home Tigger.

She refused to even look at Tigger & Tigger hissed in response.

I felt so bad because Winnie was already stressed out because of the thunder storm.

Her thunder shirt is definitely not helping...

I really hope they can become friends someday soon...

Hallie is sitting on the couch next to me.

She wants me to make a post inspired by her & my friend's dog, Myles.

So I asked her what her favorite things are.

Some things include anchors, hooded sweatshirts, leggings, aviators, and pink.

I obviously had to add rainboots since it rains like every single day here in Washington.

She liked it. :)

Winnie, Dogs & Dream Wedding #5

Today I'm linking up with C Mae for her Tail Waggin' Valentine's Day Tuesday link-up! I had every intention of taking some smoochy pictures with Winnie yesterday... Until yesterday when I was in my room & I glanced outside & see Winnie. Not only do I spot Winnie but I spot her rolling around on her back. I instantly started snapping pictures of her in the act. Then went outside to get some close ups. Now I know why there are twigs & grass all over our house... She was definitely caught. And if you ask me, I would say by the look on her face she is definitely not sorry for her actions. But I must say I am very very happy that she loves her new backyard! She also buried a bone the other day too. Which I must video tape at some point because it's pretty adorable the way she uses her nose. 

I honestly can say I have the cutest dog in the world. Now, I just had to add some wedding inspiration to this post! & lemme tell you, Winnie will be in my wedding! I mean unless for some reason I don't get married for another 10 years... (she's 9ish) She is probably the best first dog I could ever have. I know I'll be the kind of person that always has a dog. So anyway, here is some lovely, cute, adorable, doggie wedding inspiration for a lovely Tuesday! Hope this makes you smile as much as dogs make me smile! The doctor just confirmed her fears

She made it through the surgery fine

They said they caught it just in time

I'm pretty worried.

She hasn't eaten anything at all since she's been here.

I let her sleep in my bed...

I think she's lonely & missing living at the kennels...

Winnie the Dog

I'm getting a dog.

Picking her up tomorrow.

Adopting her from Astro Kennels.

She's a pretty black & white border collie who lives there & needs a home.

And so I am adopting her.

It's about time I have a dog of my own.

I changed her name from Katie to Winnie.

Mostly to name her after a dog that I played w/a lot over the summer at the kennels named Winnie.

Plus I just think it's cute & I wanted to change her name to something that still ended in a ie...

Hopefully she catches on & hopefully I can remember to always call her that!

Haha, I am pretty excited!
