Bachelor Rundown #1: Premiere

My guilty pleasure is watching the Bachelor/ette...
It is finally back on!
I'm behind by 2? or maybe even 3 episodes?
Anyway, I'm catching up now!

During the Introductions:
"Next time... sash... hat... grandma..."
Gosh could Ben be any goofier???
I am loving the girl with the British accent.
& uhhh what's with the blonde Anne who just said hi & kept walking?
Weird...
the girl with the horse...
Ben, "I've never dismounted anyone off a horse before."
What!? LOL. He is too goofy.
I just don't really know about the whole grandma thing!

After the Introductions:
Got this Bachelor Ben Bracket on Ashley Spivey's blog!
She is one of the past contestants on The Bachelor.
Anyway, halfway through every episode I'm going to fill in the brackets!
This is more of a guessing one since I was only sorta watching the first half...
But we'll see how I do...
Alright I should've waited until the dates to do the bracket
Because now I want to take Courtney & Dianna off the list.
Jenna seems crazzzzzzzzzy.
She makes bloggers look bad.
& I'm glad I didn't put Monica on the list!
Monica is lesbian? This is so odd.

After the Rose:
Who I was wrong about:
Rachel, Jennifer, Jaclyn, & Monica got a rose.
13 POINTS booyah!

P.S. Is it just me or does the southern Kacie look like a slightly skinnier
 Chantel from Brad Womack's season!?!?

Friday Fancies #18: Best Boot Forward

I changed this from best foot forward to best boot forward.
Unfortunately I won't be logging any shredding hours this winter
because I've moved to the south...
But I still can dream about snowboarding right?
So this Friday Fancies features some sick snowboard gear
I would love to be rocking this winter.
But I traded in my snowboard boots for cowboy boots...

Friday Fancies #18: Best Boot Forward

Wow I am really late posting this Friday Fancies....
Hahahah... GAH!
I really should start preparing them before Friday!
Or ermmm Monday I guess it is now haha.

Dread it more than the Dentist

So today I have a hair appointment. Actually this is take 2. Because I made an appointment yesterday. I showed up. Got scared. And left. You might be wondering why? Well, I need a haircut. Bad. Bad as in I haven't had my hair cut since it was butchered in March. The ends are awful. So basically to get my hair back healthy would mean to cut off about 3-4 inches. I freaked out. Because that also means cutting off all my blonde ombre. I did not want that but I also didn't want to spend money to re-color it. Well, I have changed my mind because it's fried and needs it. Bad. I can honestly say I dread getting my hair done more than going to the dentist... or even to that other doctor which I will just not even mention right now. So here are some pictures I have for how I want my hair...

Anyway, my fear is because of a trip I took to Brassfields Salon in Tacoma, WA in March. The only reason I put a link to that is because I am warning you... DO NOT GO THERE. After showing multiple & countless pictures of how I wanted my blonde ombre to look, they added no blonde, instead died the ends of my hair a nasty ugly shade of red.

It was awful. I cried & cried & cried some more. Finally my friends were like you need to get them to fix it. So I went back to get it fixed. Well, they tried to re-charge me for their mistake. At this point, while having foil in my hair I said take the foil out now I'm leaving now. They finally agreed to comp it. What a terrible experience. Anyway, I am crossing my fingers today goes better! I'm going to show them all the pictures from above! More to come later...if I like the way it turns out... & hopefully the ladies at 40 Volume in Savannah are understanding & nice & sweet because I have never in my life had a hair person I go back to more than once. I need to find my hair soul mate. :)

Vendor Spotlight #2: Tuscany Villa

Italian Vendor Spotlight #2: Tuscany Villa Relais La Suvera Dimona Storica
I found this place on Haute Design
& just had to check it out...
It's located in the hills of Tuscany & is absolutely divine!

Seriously... just seriously...
WOW.
& I just found some wedding photos taken here.
Check these out...

Wow. I'm sold on this place... it's gorgeous!
Haha... although I'm sure there's a ton more beautiful villas in Italy.
but this is probably the prettiest one I've looked at so far!
All I know is my friend's wedding is going to be absolutely exquisite!

Wedding #27: Marie Antoinette & an Italian Villa

My friend said she is envisioning an outdoors wedding in a villa or winery.
So when I found this hotel... I was in awe.
It's absolutely gorgeous!
So this wedding inspiration board features 2 things
& 2 things only:
1. Theme Spotlight: A Marie Antoinette Wedding
2. Venue Spotlight: Hotel Villa Michelangelo
If you aren't blown away by the desserts created by My Sweet & Saucy...
Then I don't even know what to tell you because wow...

Wedding Inspiration #27: Marie Antoinette & an Italian Villa

Venue Spotlight #1: Hotel Villa Michelangelo
A little more about the hotel...
When I first found this hotel in Vicenza, I just loved their outdoor area.
I envision a huge tent being set up for the reception out there
with all sorts of lavish food, desserts & drinks
& obviously a dance floor.
The hotel also has a spectacular view as seen in pictures above.
Originally it was built in the 1700s as the "country home
of the noble Tomi family of Vicenza."
I think it's beautiful!

Wedding #26: 60's & Vintage

I am an avid Panam watcher. :)
So that era & style has been an inspiration board in my brain for awhile...
& a few days ago I helped the cutest bride find her vintage 60's theme tea length dress.
And all the while I am envisioning her wedding.
So inspiration board time.

Dream Wedding #1: Something Blue Bridesmaids

Along with my inspiration boards I wanted to start a Dream Wedding
to start looking & focusing on specific aspects of a wedding.
So... working as a wedding dress consultant
I also sell a lot of bridesmaids dresses.
I personally don't like the look of the same dress on every girl.
I just don't like it.
I think it is blah & I like things to be different.
Plus, let's be real here... not every girl looks good in the same dress.
So the Dream Wedding #1 board will be all about the bridesmaids.
& not just bridesmaids but bridesmaids in blue.

Dream Wedding #1: Something Blue Bridesmaids

Of course I had to add some groomsmen in there.. haha
Anyway, now to my New Years Resolutions...

1. Keep my fingernails looking nice & cuticles moisturized
2. Eat healthier
3. Be patient & kind
4. Find a home I love/enjoy on a daily basis
5. Sell, sell, sell, succeed, succeed, succeed
6. Do really well in Graphic Design at Sav College of Art & Design
7. Make my relationship the better than the best
8. Give Winnie baths more often
9. Learn as much as I can working at weddings & work hard
10. Keep my apartment clean, especially the kitchen
11. Possibly start a small online shop...
