Balding Much?

I read Post Secret every single Sunday without fail.

I have been since I was a freshman in college.

I spotted this one today & just had to giggle.

Only because my significant other is sort of balding...

:) 

If he ever reads this post, I will not hear the end of it.

LOL.

Today we are going to try to make it to Cheyenne, Wyoming!

Hopefully no more crazy drivers on the road...

Wedding #6: Deserts & Sunsets

Day 1 of my road trip across country from Portland to Savannah.

First stop: Boise, Idaho.

We drove today during the sunset

It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

I just love sunsets the most out of any other time of the day.

Especially when they are pink & orange and vibrant.

I think they are so romantic, & I have decided I want to get married during sunset.

Anyway, while driving in Idaho we passed this beautiful arch in the desert.

It looked like a wedding alter & gave me the inspiration for this wedding board.

There is just something so enchanting about the desert. 

So deserts & sunset together are just the most enchanting & romantic to me.

Wedding Inspiration #6: Deserts & Sunsets in Idaho

So the craziest thing happened today on Day 1 of our road trip.
While driving on the freeway today we almost wrecked. 

A car was driving the OPPOSITE way on the freeway going about 5-10 mph.

WTF right?

My dad was able to swerve out of the way, 

but it was so strange because the closest exit was at least 3-4 miles down the road, 

so I have no idea how that car made it that far going the wrong way in the farthest left lane. 

It was the strangest thing. 

I'm guessing drugs or alcohol? 

There is just no way a normal person gets themselves in that sort of a situation for that long...

I just hope nobody crashed into them because I would guess that would have been a very fatal accident.

While we kept driving we saw about 4 or 5 police cars going to get the car...

So strange...

Friday Fancies #3: Cowboys & Indians

Red & Cowboys & Indians
I don't normally rock red because my hair is red. 

Well sorta.

Actually not really.

But I mean kinda?

Hmm, besides the point.

When I do Friday Fancies I always try to incorporate looks that I would really go for.

Or that I would actually wear.

So it sorta hit me.

I have this awesome red dress from H&M.

It can be dressed down, up, any which way.

But my favorite thing to wear it with? COWBOY BOOTS.

So my red Friday's Fancies is Red & Cowboys & Indians.

Which fits perfectly since tomorrow I start my drive cross country to the SOUTH...

Living Room Chic

So I have found a roomie & a new place to live! 

Hopefully we get approved to move in!!! 

But anyways, I'm really excited because I get to be a part of the decorating!

So she has dark brown leather furniture & some bar stools.

I've found some fun ideas for living rooms that have dark brown furniture...
I've put together a few different color schemes since I change my mind a lot.
So here is the first one I've come up with! :) 

I just love the bright orange & blue accents...
It's really similar to my original ideas for my room...
So I guess I haven't quite given up on that.
We shall see, more ideas to come soon!

Friday Fancies #2: Maxi Dress Night Out

A Night Out in a Maxi Dress

I have always been a huge fan of these Jessica Simpson heels.

I just love the bright colors & their funky style!

So I decided to use those as the staple of my Friday Fancies this week,

The theme was maxi dress, so I used the shoes & went from there!

I'm not going to lie... I sort of wish I could rock this outfit out tonight...

Hmm, shopping today!?!?!

P.S. Like how all the nail polishes I used are Nicole by OPI?
Haha, I gotta rep the brand with my name obviously.

Not-so-Sunday Steal #2: Pencil Skirt

Current location: Savannah, Georgia.

I have been here since Monday & it sort of feels like more has happened in the past 2 days then during my whole summer spent in Greenville.

It's been a really hectic, really fun, really amazing time here! 

I've been applying for jobs, meeting people, networking, & interviewing.

It's been amazing!

& the people are too nice!

I am sort of on cloud 9...

The only thing that would make this better is if my boyfriend was here!

Savannah has the prettiest sunsets I have ever seen. & I have yet to see one that is not this pretty!

So, I am doing more "business" stuff then I came prepared for.

Not only that, but since January I have lost 20 pounds...

And I have gone from a size 8 to a size 4! 

I can't even remember the last time I was a size 4...

I think it had to of been in high school.

And not only that, but I was filling out the apartment application last night,

& for the first time since I can remember I did not LIE about my weight.

I put my actual weight.

It is a great feeling.

All this is great & all except nothing I brought with fits properly 

& I ran out of business casual clothes quick.

So I went shopping last night & found some amazing steals!

Not-so-Sunday Steal #2: The Limited High-Waisted Pencil Skirt

I went just to buy some business casual capris...

& I did buy 2 pairs in a khaki-ish color & white.

But I also just happened to run across this orange skirt.

It was love at first sight.

I loved the material, the length, the bright color.

Also, since I wear skirts to work more than pants, I justified buying more than I came for.

I also felt like the color was a good choice because it could be worn spring, summer, or fall.

Retail Price: $59.90

My Price: $19.90

Bachelorette Rundown #3: Finale

#1: JP

Ashley's sister is a tough cookie...

Poor JP... 

Hmm, this is making me bummed out.

I think Ashley's sister is being really rough.

I definitely don't think she will choose JP now...

:(

I don't know if JP talking badly about Ashley's sister is a good idea.

Ashley basically told him it's not him because she said they don't have a dynamic relationship.

I'm glad Ashley stuck up to her "badass" sister!

#2: Ben F.

I think Ben is sorta goofy!

Whoa Ashley, those were some crazy dance moves...

OMG, Ben what the heck is that dog voice?

I totally think she is choosing Ben F.!

I think they are more friends than true love, 

but I guess sometimes being friends is more important than passion.

I guess that Ashley & Ben sorta remind me of my bf & I! 

We are total goofballs around each other too & it's the best relationship I've ever had.

Best quote, "I don't think we're going to sleep tonight."

 

After the guys meet Ashley's fambam:

I was Team JP before... but now I am way more into Ben F. 

I like him better because they were friends first & I think that's important.

So maybe they would actually last for a really long time

& maybe JP and her would have a fizzling passionate quick relationship!

Maybe Ben doesn't look like a great kisser, but maybe practice?

I just really don't think she will choose JP.

Oh my gosh, but now after listening to that letter JP wrote...

Oh my gosh, I'm tearing up. I love JP.

Team JP again...

Hmm...

My prediction:

I'm so torn. I can't choose.

Friend/fun/goofy verses romance/sexy/attraction?

I want both so I can't imagine how hard that decision would be...

I really love it though when I have NO idea who wins! 

After the Winner:

This is really painful to watch Ben propose & have her say no.

I am wincing at watching this.

I think she needs to stop trying to comfort him...

& stop complimenting and sugarcoating the break-up.

Just let him go... he'll move on. He's too cute to not move on.

Well, he would be too cute if he'd cut his hair...

And yayyyyyyy omg I love her & JP!!!!!

I hope they get married!!!
