Dream Wedding #21: Blush Pink Gown

This week for my Wedding Wednesday link-up with Something Charming I am doing something similar to my post last week, a Blush Pink Wedding Inspiration Board... but I am going to focus on just bridal gowns. I think blush pink gowns are absolutely beautiful!!! We used to have one at my work & it was sooo pretty. & honestly I think that pretty much any skin tone can rock the blush pink, whereas white often makes pale people look washed out. Anyway, I rounded up some of the prettiest blush pink wedding gowns I could find. What you think??

Wedding #58: Blush Pink

For wedding Wednesday today with Something Charming I wanted to create an inspiration board based on a wedding dress trend I really am loving... blush dresses. We used to have one at my work & it was so beautiful! Not sure if I would necessarily rock one at my wedding, but I still love to dream. Anyway, I bought Winnie a Thunder Shirt today & while at Pet Smart I fell in love with a kitten named Meems. I almost bought her... I figured maybe I should sleep on it before making another animal commitment, plus who knows if Winnie even likes kittens... she might like them... for dinner...

Dream Wedding #19: Inbal Dror Dresses

Just when I thought I found the prettiest wedding dresses ever...

I find yet another designer that leaves me speechless.

Now this designer is from Israel.

Dream Wedding #19: Inbal Dror Dresses

Someone asked if these dresses can be purchased in the US...

I did some brief research & I am thinking that the answer is maybe.

I found this information on Fashion TV

which basically says the designer Inbal Dror is located in Israel but she will make custom-made gowns... so I am thinking that if you want a custom made gown you can get one. But I am honestly not 100% sure. If you known any information on this please comment below! :) Thanks!!

I would love to work at a place with dresses that beautiful.

Vera Wang & Black Wedding Dresses

Huh?

I'm confused.

Or maybe I'm just too low class to understand high fashion.

That's probably it honestly, but still...

I love the whole blush wedding dress trend...

I think it's a great color & looks really freaking beautiful on a lot of women.

And champagne is great too if you don't want to go with ivory, soft white or stark white...

But uhh... black?

While failing miserably at putting together a post tonight,

I ran across Vera Wang's Fall 2012 wedding dress collection

& was just a little bit mystified.

Although I will admit... I have seen a wedding somewhere on one of these wedding blogs

with a super hot bride in a black wedding dress... 

But I really think there are very few who can pull this off. Just saying...

So I guess I was just kinda surprised that 7 out of 13 of Vera's Fall 2012 Collection has black in it.

What do you all think? Opinions???

I think someone needs to explain high fashion to me. I just don't think I get it. Do these designers design clothes that are actually meant to be purchased & worn? Or is just meant as an artform? I really think I must be too low class to understand this phenomena. Or maybe I'm low on blood sugar & energy from the Detox I started today. Read more about it here. 

Detox Update:
But anyway, if you are wondering how it is going, lemme tell you. I loved eating fruit all day.  I got to eat 2 cartons of strawberries, a whole container of watermelon  & a carton of blackberries and a green apple. Yummy :) I actually honestly didn't even feel hungrier than normal, which is what I was most concerned about while at work all day, because there is nothing more I hate than trying to sell a bride a dress while my stomach is growling. Now, for the cons... I am pretty sure I have peed over 30 times today. This is no lie. It might almost be even 50... Tonight is going to be a rough night I am guessing, since I have to pee now & I just peed less than 5 minutes ago. I guess fruit has a lot of water in it??? Because honestly I should have drank more water today. I only have one water bottle full & I kinda have a headache from lack of water (I think??) Or maybe it's just from staring at the computer screen for too long. Anyway, we'll see how tomorrow goes. I get to start the day with a baked potato. Super weird..... but all I gotta say is that this dumb thing better be worth it...

Now that all is said & done, I have finally given myself new inspiration

for a blog post... something I struggled with for a long time tonight. Grrr.
