I know I am 3 months early, but still I don't care.

I do what I want. 

Halloween costume planning.

You can laugh now.

But I can't even describe to tell you how much I love Halloween.

In college being in a sorority we got to dress up all the time.

In the real world... not so much & I miss it dearly.

But Halloween I still get to have my fun.

This year?

I am going to be KATNISS!!!!!!!

If you know me at all then you know how obsessed I am with 

the Hunger Games and this should be no surprise.

I'm even thinking some fake blood and a big gash on my forehead?

What you think???

Hahaha... I know I am way too early but this was fun regardless :)

Oh How Pinteresting #12 & 4th of July Wedding

Have I mentioned lately that this year is going by fast? Yeah, pretty sure I mention that on the daily since it seriously needs to slow down. Anyway, happy 4th of July everyone! Hope it's a great day! The bf I woke up, epically failed at getting breakfast at Tubby's (geez, 10:30 seems too early to stop serving breakfast...) then went to a disgusting breakfast place, ran a few errands then went to see The Amazing Spiderman, which I loved! Tonight we are going to a barbecue with some of my work friends then to River Street for the fireworks! Hope you all have some fun plans too! I am real excited for a fun night!

25 years ago today my mom & dad got married.

It's so weird to think of how different things might have been if she had beat cancer.

I know I would be a different person in so many ways.

Happy Memorial Day

Today I would like to share this video I first saw on A Momma's Desires & Pacifiers.

I have to admit... I did tear up...

I love stuff like this, but I am also a big baby & I cry very easily.

It makes me really happy when I meet someone who is respectful of our military.

It also makes me feel so good when someone comes up to my bf while we are out 

& he's in his uniform and they thank him for his service. 

I can easily say I am so happy I found him.

Well rather he found me... :)

Anyway, I hope today you take the time to thank those you know that serve for our country.

Friday Fancies #38: Memorial Day Weekend

I'd much rather not talk about this week's Friday Fancies because I am a little bit upset. Let me tell you why. My boyfriend came back last night & I had Wednesday and Thursday off. My boyfriend has Friday through Monday off (obviously... he is in the military). Would you like to know what I will be doing Friday through Monday? Work 11-4, work 1215-730, work 12-730 & work 330-730. I would so much rather be spending the weekend with my lovely military man. So... here is my Friday Fancies & my if I were a free person on Memorial Day Weekend... For all you people who are off work... you better have an extra fabulous time! :) And don't forget to thank those who serve for your country! They really are some amazing incredible people & I am so fortunate to have one laying next to me snoring on the couch...

Wedding #32: Valentine's Day Lavender & Red

I'm kinda bummed this Monday morning. 

Instead of waking up feeling refreshed that's it's a new week, 

I feel absolutely exhausted. 

I want to sleep all day but I have so much to do it's not even funny. 

I worked 15 hours straight with only an hour break on Saturday. 

And that took a lot of energy out of me, 

since I then had to wake up yesterday and work 6 hours. 

I do have a really great story though.

Wedding Inspiration #32: Valentine's Day Lavender & Red

What's funny is I knew I wanted my Valentine's wedding inspiration to be lavender & red.

& lemme tell you, it was hard to make, I guess it's not a popular color combo...

But when I popped over to Shop Bop to find a Bridesmaids dress...

This was the screen image.

So um.. obviously great minds (like myself & designer, Robert Rodriguez, think alike.)

Anyway, now to my super long story!

So one of my jobs is working at a bridal shop selling wedding dresses. On Saturday, I had one of my brides come in with her daughter. I've worked with them about 4 times now, so we've gotten to know one another. She had found some dresses she liked but in the end chose to order one offline rather than buy one through me. Well, when her dress got to her it was dirty on the bottom, the bag was ripped, the dress was irreplaceable. All the company did was send her a return label but refused to pay to clean it or anything. I honestly can tell you I was shocked & angry for her. My store did the best we could to fix it but it wasn't going to happen. Since I was scheduled to leave at 330, my manager had put her with another consultant. Well, she spotted me in the store around 3 & was very tearful saying she didn't want to work with anyone else she wanted me. I can tell you, I work my butt off & this made even me teary eyed. To know that someone else valued me enough and respected and trusted me enough that she only wanted to work with me. It was a special moment to me. Well, I asked my manager if this is alright & she said well you're off in 30 & I said I don't care I'm going to stay and we are going to find this bride her dress. Well, we found her dress. She was very tearful through it all but she looked gorgeous in the one we found & there were many many hugs. 

I was 10 minutes late to my next job but I can tell you, that was by far the best day I've ever worked at my job. Because I love making others happy because it truly makes me happy too.

& I will honestly never forget her and her daughter. They had such a cute mother-daughter relationship & I hope someday I can have the same.

Pinteresting Holiday

Everything has been so hectic right now...

holiday parties, holiday shopping, etc. etc.

Working double shifts to make some extra money before I take a week off...

Today I work from 11am to midnight! Ouch!

No time to blog! 

Anyway, since I don't have time to put together an inspiration board,

& since I never got a chance to decorate my apartment for Christmas...

I wanted to compile some of my favorite holiday things on Pinterest right now! 

Pinteresting Holiday Inspiration

I am extremely excited for this holiday because:

1. I get to spend it with my special someone (again)

2. I get to meet the special someone's family! 

3. ROAD TRIP to VIRGINIA (I have never been!)

Just got to get through Wednesday & then I'm off work for a bit!

I am really really really excited!

Plus since I've been so busy lately I haven't gotten to spend much time with

my special someone so this will be a whole lot of fun!!

Wedding #17: Red, White & Blue

In honor of Veteran's Day,

Now, if only my wishes come true, I think I'd be set for life!

My boyfriend, dog & I had an amazing Veteran's Day!

We went to downtown Savannah & ate at J Christopher's outside

& had a front row seat for the parade,

we literally got to watch the entire parade go by!

It was an awesome day!

Then I got to show my biffle the dresses I picked out for his ball...

Which we still have yet to choose.
