My favorite thing to wear on a road tri is something comfortable and cute. Which to me is a romper! Although my bf would definitely disagree, but I still love them! I would love to go on a road trip to anywhere but I doubt it will happen anytime soon.. we'll see! :)

Friday Fancies #34: Amusement Park Date & a Hot Date

This week's Friday Fancies theme is Date Night. I made a date day and a date night outfit because tomorrow the boyfriend & I are road tripping to Atlanta to go to Six Flags!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love roller coasters & could not be more excited!! Be jealous! ;)

Pinteresting Holiday

Everything has been so hectic right now...

holiday parties, holiday shopping, etc. etc.

Working double shifts to make some extra money before I take a week off...

Today I work from 11am to midnight! Ouch!

No time to blog! 

Anyway, since I don't have time to put together an inspiration board,

& since I never got a chance to decorate my apartment for Christmas...

I wanted to compile some of my favorite holiday things on Pinterest right now!

I am extremely excited for this holiday because:

1. I get to spend it with my special someone (again)

2. I get to meet the special someone's family! 

3. ROAD TRIP to VIRGINIA (I have never been!)

Just got to get through Wednesday & then I'm off work for a bit!

I am really really really excited!

Plus since I've been so busy lately I haven't gotten to spend much time with

my special someone so this will be a whole lot of fun!!

Obsession #3: Bar Cart

Day 4 of road trip...

Actually I guess today doesn't really count since we only drove 45 minutes today.

We are currently in Nashville, Tennessee. 

We are staying at the Gaylord Opry Land Resort!

It is incredible.

It reminds me of something you'd see in Vegas...

I am currently lounging on our personal balcony & blogging.

It is my way of unwinding... & I'm loving it.

The only thing that could make this any better?

An iced coffee w/a splash of vanilla flavoring & a razor.

My razor is done-zo & personally I prefer my legs to be super smooth during summer.

[Sorry... that may have been TMI, but whatever, it's my blog right?]

Anyway, while perusing the internet & looking at bathroom decor...

I ran across this awesome blog, My Cup of Te.

Which led me to her new company... Society Social.

Which led me to find some amazing stuff.

And I just love these bar carts!

I saw in an interior design magazine the idea of decorating your kitchen or dining area with one.

& I just loved it!

So... anyway, here it is... the bar rack I've been talking about...

And I want this blanket!!!

It would look so freaking adorable in my living room to be...

Especially since it has some dark brown in it which would match the dark brown couches.

Sunday Steal #3: Romper

Current Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming

We drove from Boise, Idaho to Cheyenne, Wyoming today.

It took us about 10 hours to get 605 miles.

It was a really long day.

I slept probably 5 hours & drove 5 hours. :) 

Today I wore my Sunday Steal of the week.

I just absolutely love this find!

Especially because it's something I could totally dress up or down.

Today I wore it with my aviators, flip-flops & my usual gold necklace, bracelet & ring.

But I could totally picture it being dressed up with my 

H&M brown wedges, a belt, & some funky bracelets.

This Sunday Steal of the Week was from one of my ultimate favorite stores... Forever 21!

Sunday Steal #3: Forever 21 Romper

I love rompers. 

Absolutely love them.

I like how simple & easy they are.

I have probably at least 10 or so of them in fun crazy prints.

I found this one last week at Forever 21 in Portland...

& was shocked at how cheap it was.

Well, not really since Forever 21 is cheap in general.

Anyway, it has a really cute back with criss-cross straps (a bunch of them).

Balding Much?

I read Post Secret every single Sunday without fail.

I have been since I was a freshman in college.

I spotted this one today & just had to giggle.

Only because my significant other is sort of balding...

:) 

If he ever reads this post, I will not hear the end of it.

LOL.

Day 2 of my road trip across country!!

Today we are going to try to make it to Cheyenne, Wyoming!

Hopefully no more crazy drivers on the road...

Wedding #6: Deserts & Sunsets

Day 1 of my road trip across country from Portland to Savannah.

First stop: Boise, Idaho.

We drove today during the sunset

It was beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

I just love sunsets the most out of any other time of the day.

Especially when they are pink & orange and vibrant.

I think they are so romantic, & I have decided I want to get married during sunset.

Anyway, while driving in Idaho we passed this beautiful arch in the desert.

It looked like a wedding alter & gave me the inspiration for this wedding board.

There is just something so enchanting about the desert. 

So deserts & sunset together are just the most enchanting & romantic to me.

Wedding Inspiration #6: Deserts & Sunsets in Idaho

So the craziest thing happened today on Day 1 of our road trip.
While driving on the freeway today we almost wrecked. 

A car was driving the OPPOSITE way on the freeway going about 5-10 mph.

WTF right?

My dad was able to swerve out of the way, 

but it was so strange because the closest exit was at least 3-4 miles down the road, 

so I have no idea how that car made it that far going the wrong way in the farthest left lane. 

It was the strangest thing. 

I'm guessing drugs or alcohol? 

There is just no way a normal person gets themselves in that sort of a situation for that long...

I just hope nobody crashed into them because I would guess that would have been a very fatal accident.

While we kept driving we saw about 4 or 5 police cars going to get the car...

So strange...
