Dream Wedding #14: Dreamy Dessert Bar

No matter what the size of my wedding there is one thing I must have. A beautifully decorated & scrumptiously delicious dessert bar. With lots of yummy desserts & of course I want a beautiful multiple tiered cake as well. My dream cake designer? Jenna Rae. She is seriously incredible & I featured some of her cakes below. So yeah... for my Wedding Wednesday link-up with Something Charming I made three 4 (couldn't resist using the cotton candy pink) different color palettes :) I hope you all enjoy & are craving sweets as badly as I am now! I could seriously go for some wedding cake right about now...

Dream Wedding #14: Dreamy Dessert Bar

Which is your fave??
& what's your favorite dessert at a wedding?
I must say mine are macarons!!!!
Not "macaroons" but "macarons."
BIG DIFFERENCE.
I have never had one until I worked at Katrina & Matthew's wedding at The Olde Pink House.
The bride, Katrina, actually made the macarons herself!
They were delicious.
I think I had 10. No like actually literally I am pretty sure I had 10. Honestly maybe 14.
And I took about 5 or probably like 10 home "for my boyfriend"
who didn't eat a single one... & yes I ate all the rest of them that night & the next morning...
Thank gawd for Insanity on days like those :)

I really should try & see if I can get the recipe for those...

  1. Love this dessert inspiration! I actually used to own a dresser like the one in the first pic. I'm wishing I still had it now for a dessert table!

  3. Hey I love the sponge cakes at weddings ... something light, airy and not heavy with tons of flavours. After a big meal i find it hard to stomach any after the main and cheese !

I have to start tasting desserts soon and I can't wait !

    Love Chrissi

  6. All of these color schemes and dessert ideas are great!! Plus they look delicious! You are so funny about eating all the macarons, but I probably had a few- although the truffles were my weakness.....um we're not supposed to eat our client's buffet food though, jk Katrina was ok with it!!
